Owl necklace set. A unique design from my workspace here at home which is overflowing with beading supplies and felting. The owl is hand made polymer clay cabochon. I have embroidered a bead “story” behind the own as it sits on a branch in the middle of the night. There is a silvery full moon behind the owl. This is a freeform bead weaving and bead embroidery pendant. I have used metallic finish Czech seed beads and Japanese seed beads for this piece.  The bead embroidery behind the owl is multi layered for added visual interest.  The necklace arms are semi precious Obsidian. I have made matching Obsidian earrings to go with the necklace. Of course, if you do not wear earrings, these would make a lovely gift.
The necklace measures approximately 62 centimeters in length. The lovely pendant measures approximately 7 centimeters in length and width. This measurement excludes the bead woven bail. The entire piece is a combination of bead embroidery and bead weaving to create a truly unique piece for your jewellery collection. The backing is black ultrasuede which sits softly against the skin. The clasp is toggle in structure which makes this an easy opening to use.
